    Thanks for the suggestion. :) you don't know of anything closer to the looks of a wonderpus? I live the shape and color. But as Corailine stated, it probably wouldn't live that long.

    i have kept octopus ...not the ones mentioned they are an awesome creature. to the best of my knowledge the ones you have mentioned are very tough tto keep for any amount of time in captivity...theres a local who had 1 for 7 months but it was in his own 450 gallon tank.my best advice is to have a crazy strong skimmer octos make a mess.pound for pound about 3 times as much as aanother invert or fish.read up on them before you get one feel free to ask me any questions you may have. they most certainly are not for just anyone.if you dont love them they arent for you.but if you do then by all means please get one they are a wonderful creature. i would suggest looking into cuttlefish. they tend to be a bit easier and they will swim around and be more active.
