I am using a sump that has a constant water level chamber for a skimmer but a problem is that the chamber is only 6.75x7.75" . I am thinking I can house a skimmer in the return chamber which is 8x11". What's the minimum water depth for the Aqua C EV-120 with Mag5 pump? Any other suggestions for skimmers that would work for me? I have the marineland acrylic sump, similar to the tidepool 2.. haven't used it yet so I don't know what the water level will be in the return chamber..

Or you can put the skimmer on a plastic stand inside the sump. :)
