Was at a local reefer yesterday picking up some frags and he had mini blue cloves spread real nice on a rock. They are like an 1/8 of an inch.... and spread to make a really nice colony... very awesome... heres a pic that I found on the web

I had never heard or even seen any of these guys before.... I was thinking about picking up a frag of his colony and putting on the background of my tank to spread. Similar to how people do with gsp.

Anybody seen these before? any experience with em? Very little on the web on em.

I just got some micro anthelia recently too about a couple weeks ago. I have mine in the middle of my tank with medium flow [55 gallon with 6 t5ho light fixture] and they seem to be doing great so far.

Yea its the same stuff. The one I got I have been looking at it for atleast a month before I actually bought it. When I got it, it had spread maybe 1/2" more on the rock since I first saw it. I really like it too. I'm not sure if they will take over like xenia does in some tanks though. I cant really find much out about them either lol.

Here is a picture of mine. It hasn't grown over the favia anymore since I first saw it, just around the left side of the rock. I might break the piece up just in case because I don't know if it will take over on the favia or not. I love how blue these things are! I have also picked up some of the larger anthelia but I kind of like these more lol

When I got them they said they were anthelia but now that you said that I looked them up and I am finding the same stuff under both anthelia and clavularia.... now I don't know lol!
I would definitely get that if I were you. The last time I saw these in a store around here it was a year ago and haven't seen it since so I had to get it this time
