Do you have replacement reagents for when the starter pack is gone? I can't find them on your web page.

Oh snap. I was waiting for them to come out with something to rival Hanna and the checkers. I wonder if this one displays the result longer. 5 dollars cheaper. Oh and does not look like an egg. I would like to see a you tube video on how it works like Hanna has done!

I've not tested this unit myself. However, Phosphorus presents some difficulties with titration tests that other Elements don't. I've had people tell me they don't have Phosphates. I tell them to bring in a water sample. Their titration tests tell them they have 0 (zero) Phosphorus. I can put their water sample into a Hach DR3000 spectrophotometer and tell them, they do indeed have phosphate....in fact they have a lot. (Hence, their algae problems). This is why I'm interested in this product.

I tend to reserve judgement until I've used a product.

They do what they do. If you get a reading, you've seriously overfed, or seriously under-exported, or both. There's your feed-back. ;D They're easier to use than titration test kits but they still have the same issues.

    New Hanna Phos Tester.

Well...I am wondering whyyyyyyyyyy the company would put all
the other nonsense on the screen... The numbers switch automatic
and you have to GRAB the Phos reading before it goes off the display...
Kinda crazy! Whyyyy or am I doing something wrong????

    I just did first test....
    I get C2, then 712, then 1.05...then whatever....

I am thinking the 1.05 is the phos reading but how the hell do I know?????

    What is the 712????

I thought with the nice big display it would be a no brainer but....so far
I am GUESSING that my phos is at 1.05....

Is there any way of FREEZING the phos reading on the screen????

    Thks,
    Tim

Here's some clarification from Sohal Tang. Thanks.

    "Talking Got it!
I spoke to Brian at Milwaukee this morning....
He did admit that the instructions on the unit can be easily misunderstood.

He walked me through the process and the unit works like a dream but
I prewarn all of you that the instructions do not match the process!!!!

Here is what you do to use this little puppy that the instructions DONT tell you.

#1 there are two cuvettes... one of them is for a tank water only
sample and the other is for a tankwater+reagent mixture shaken lightly
for two minutes ... (nowhere do the instructions tell you to seperate
    these two into two vials)

#2 You press the button and release the button...the unit turns on.
#3 You put the first sample of tank water only into the unit, close lid
and then press and release the button.... Wait for C2 press to flash...
This means the unit now zeroed itself.....

nowwwwwww between the time it zeroed itself and the time you put the
second cuvette in you must wait 2 minutes!!!!!!!! Even iffffff you already
have the second cuvette mixed and waiting to be installedinto the unit !!!!!

#4 You put the second sample into the unit (this is the one with reagent
mixed already by lightly shaking for 2 minutes)....you close the lid...
Press the button and release and VOILA!!!! There is your Phosphate reading!!!!!

IFFFFFF you follow the instructions you will BE LOST and you will NOT
get a reading..you will get thrown through a scrolling of numbers and signs
    and nothing will make sense.....

Follow the above simple instructions and it works like a dream! I love this
unit now that Brian from Milwaukee gave me INCREDIBLE SERVICE....

He said, "Tim, I am going to go get a unit and run a test myself and I will
call you back in 10 minutes. "

I am way the heck up in Ontario Canada and he called me back in 10 minutes
on the nose and walked me through a test giving me the exact instructions
above that I just gave to you!

Service and attitude of his was IMPECABLE!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a million Milwaukee
and Thanks Brian if you ever read this!!!!! Much appreciated. I absolutely
love the MW12 phosphate tester! Extremely Cool !!!!!

    I am now happy camper....

My phosphate is at .22 mmmmmmmmmm now I have to find out
    how good/bad that is...haha

    Tim
