A brown banded brittlestar will hunt and eat mini's and asterina's. If you want to get rid of a whole bunch round up about 50 and send them to me. I'll send you my brown banded so my population will go back up and yours will fall. ;D

I was hoping something a little better looking would like them. Btw, how is the Buckster doing these days? That is the best thread I've read! I was chuckling all the way through it:)

:victory:Man, you guys got me thinking about starting a mini-star farm. Everybody wants them, I could be rich beyond my wildest imagination! 20 mini's for $10:drool:

    How many can you grab?;D

Yeah I think it is normal. They reproduce until they have equalled the food available.

Ah man I feel bad. Bucky died a few weeks ago. Then I found a rarer Glabrous..it was doa. So now I have a O. Havanensis and she is doing awesome! Her name is Carnicera (spanish for butcher).

There is a market for the mini brittles. Some are sold on ebay and I know of at least one collector out of Florida that sells them. Both are ridiculously over charging so maybe you should look into turning some profit. ;D

Sorry to hear that about the buckster. That whole ordeal was very fun to follow. It has got me interested in maybe trying a mantis tank down the road sometime. Good luck with the Butcheress.
