    I am purchasing a refugium for my 55 gallon reef tank and am looking into buying Miracle Mud for the refugium base, and I wanted to know if anyone has had experience with this product or could offer up opinions on whether this product does all the wonders that it claims. Thanks!

    are you going to use a deep bed of regular live sand, with mud a the bottom? the mud is basically just the organic pure clay type of kitty litter i think for much less cost than branded refugium mud.

    i was planning on just using the miracle mud as a substrate in the refugium.
