    this is my first post on 3reef and have been goin through the forum for a couple months....great people on here with great advice. I'm cycling my 30 gl now for 3 weeks and decided to add a damsel to get it kickin. Like the title says my tank is a mirror back and my stripped damsel hasn't left the mirror! Was gettin a mirror back a bad idea? Anyone experience anythin like this?

    only thing id be a little apprehensive with , especially a damsel. it might think its another damsel movin in on its territory and drivin it a bit loco. but the mirror back sounds cool. im with rob , pics please

    would like to see pics of that tank! I do wonder if the fish will "fight itself" trying to defend its territory!

    Hey great looking tank you got there. I too was going for the mirror background but just never did. I think I will eventually put it on a 70gal display I have. IMO, the damsel would be stressed a bit seeing it's own reflection but I think after a while he would calm down and get used to it.;)

    Imho it's kind of a waste of time since the back will eventually be covered in coraline. I like the idea though.

    That is a good looking tank. Anyone seen finding nemo? The fish in the dentists tank named deb is a three stripe damsel. Thinks her reflection is her twin system. Carefull your damsel might go a little nuts.

    Very nice start. I would be a little concerned about stress for some fish will not tolerate another of its own kind and may try to battle it out with its reflection. Good looking tank you have.
