    Hi Guys,

I have noticed in the last week or so that the tubes on my nassarius vibex snails have gotten significantly shorter. When I first got them, I could see the tube sticking up out of the sand. I haven't seen anything attacking them but didn't know if one of my hermits or hippo tang had gotten a hold of them. I only have two of the snails and they are still extremely active. Was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy

Yes. I had a little blue damsel that would bite the siphons off all my snails, and their eyestalks too, if he got a chance. I don't know if the clowns would do it, but they might. It never killed any of my snails, but I'm sure they were glad to see the damsel go.

    Cheers,

    Don
