Just finished making my purchase.;D Should be here within 3-5 days (site indicated that tanks may take longer). I'm optimistic it will be here sooner. It's only coming from Arizona (2 states away).
This is the tank (no affiliation to the site)

I'm in the market for a good skimmer and I'll be changing out bulbs when the time comes to turn them on. May need to up-grade the pump. Not going to use l/r in this tank. All going to be base. Not going to use a fish toi cycle either (maybe;D).

I'm definitely going to try and make this build as "controlled" as possible. I ended up with bryopsis and bubble algae from the store I used to shop at. Along with hydroids. So , I saved a good amount of l/r rubble and I may make a piece or two. I can't cycle with the couple of fish I plan on keeping and I'm not dealing with a damsel. This is going to be a slow/boring/lightless cycle:confused:.

    Cool. 8)
We gave away a Finnex on 3reef a couple years back. I was tempted to keep it. :)

Wow. I see you got the HQI option. Nice. I can't wait to see it!

Definitely getting rid of the 10k bulb and going with a 20k. It's kinda like buying cars for me here, if it doesn't have 4wd I won't buy it.:)

Not sure if you know this but an unmated pair of firefish is going to cause some serious fighting, especially in a small tank.

I had a slight idea about that. Means I may have to buy them from Petco, unless, I can find someone online selling pairs. I've looked around a little bit. I don't really have any store options locally other than petco and petsmart. Everything else is 7-ish hours round trip.

You could try to sex them yourself but I'm not sure how easy/difficult that may be?
