I'm just catching up, but I was gonna say you should ditch the peppermint shrimp, and get more sexy shrimp instead. They look great in pairs or even trios, and maybe get a colorful rock anemone.

Thanks for the recommendations triggerfish.....I had the sexy shrimp tentatively on my livestock list. Decided against it though.

Did some water testing in preparation for my livestock arrival on Tues. Mainly concerned about being ready for the acro.

I hope so;D. I keep wondering why I would test the water with an acro::). I've been pondering an sps only tank anyways. I just like zoanthids too much.

Got this today;D. The frag was much larger than I expected and the coloration was also much better than I expected. My sixline was doa and the peppermint is cruising around. The water temp in the bags was cold:-/. So, with that, I hope my acro is ok. Still haven't seen any polyp extension. I'll post update pics when/is I do. If I can get one of the shrimp, I will.

Thanks J, I agree. Especially considering it is a miami orchid. I pretty much thought I was going to get a brown coral. Should look/do better with a quality bulb. Getting that this week.
