If you like them, I might get a set for mine. It's about time to replace my Aquatraders. It'll be hard to match the quality, but it's a tough job sometimes. :)

Yes, the aquatraders 20k bulbs are no longer available. After the sps incident, that's where I was headed. I'll let you know for sure.

You're not alone, Casey. Sad as I am to say, I lost my green birdsnest and my pink birdsnest too. My two acro's; the puple milli and the blue, have stopped extending their polyps about 3 weeks ago, but are not dead. They show full color, but no PE.

The clam and the monti digi are doing very well, as are the elegance, zoa's, and the bubble.

I told my wife 2 months ago that "if we get the XP2000 skimmer and Iwaki return pump, I'd have all bases covered."

I'm at a loss for what's going wrong on my end. Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrates are zero, calcium is 450, mag is about 1300, alk is about 10 or 11. These 6 parameters are rock solid, and have been for nearly 8 months. Again, I'm at a loss. No copper, zero phophates, I just don't know.

To all, I'm not hijacking this thread, and not looking for solutions for my problems here. Just giving Casey some affirmative nods.

It's frustrating throwing money at a problem to no avail. Sometimes it seems others' tanks are thriving all the while they admit such success with little or no effort; or so they say.

    You're not alone.

Oh, don't worry, Greg. I'm not going anywhere. It would be a most grand waste of money for me to leave the hobby at this point. :-/

UGH! Part of my woes. When I brought home the RG, one of the firefish disappeared shortly thereafter. Found it all dried up on the carpet. Also, had a rock fall, pin, and kill my royal gramma. All my efforts at a controlled cycle/tank have kicked me in the face. I received algae spores from 1 of 2 online vendors and now have a couple of different nuisance macroalgaes. I'm not blaming anyone, I have the nutrients to support it, so what a waste. I'd have been better off buying live rock and quick cycling.
I'm not that far into this tank where I can't give away all my coral. Keeping the rock and sand of course.

Side note: My close friend just set up a planted tank in his kitchen with live plants and cardinal tetras. Looks very impressive. I figure with my lighting, I can crank plants out all day long. I know how to make/supply CO[SUB]2[/SUB]. And, yes and, proper pH for his tank is 6.5-7. My rodi kicks it out at 7. We need a freshwater guru here anyways;D. Dunno, I'm up in the air and right on the line. Thanks for sharing Larry, I'll let you know what I do.
