    Don't you dare bail on this one. Thats what I was told about my tank and I kept on putting it off of getting rid of it and here it still sits. You of all people know it will get better just keep on keepin on my friend.

    Thing is, I've been doing this for 15 years. So, there's no such thing as "quit" or "I give up" here. I've never actually done a planted tank.

    Seriously though, sorry to hear about your frustration! Planted tanks are really sweet so if you do decide to go that route, be share to share the journey!

    Man, what luck.. and I complain about a little algae.. I went through all kinds of trouble when I lost all off my fish in my 20h.. Just hang in there.... It'll straighten out..

    So wait, you're going to keep your current saltwater tank and start another for freshwater/planted?

    if ya want a sw planted just leave the lights on and quit doing water changes :p

    I've debated doin a fw planted also keep us informed man
