Definitely off to a slow start. I just got around to start the curing process for some of the sand from my last system. I've got it baking in the sun for a few days. As soon as it is ready I'll probably add water. I'm going to start tinkering with my my rock for the aquascape.8)

Well, thanks to John I ended up getting after this thing. It has water and rock in it. I'm pretty impressed with the tank so far. The pump that comes with the tank is plenty enough for sps without adding a powerhead. I'm at 14.5 total system gallons:). Water changes/dosing are going to be a breeze....... I feel pretty confident that I am off to a good start with a clean slate. No hitch hikers for me (yet:angry:) clean sand, clean base rock and a little R/O water. I didn't go nuts on my aquascape because I wouldn't ever like it any way. Just did a simple stack method that will inevitably change many times anyways. Pretty sure I'll be stocking a single six-line. Not sure on the coral theme yet. I am, after all, trying to simplify.
Crappy picture but I'm having a hard time getting a good shot.
