Mixing Salt in a tank

    This is IndianOutlaw at Horton16's house... I want to know can i mix the salt in my tank if i have no Livestock At ALL in my tank?

    29 gallon OCeanic BioCube. with a 316gph pump

    It really depends do you have anything at all sand, lr ?
    If not you should be absolutely fine , do check all spg ect before adding anything tho :)

    Specific gravity ;)
    Go ahead and mix it you will be absolutely fine just let it mix like you normally would to get all the salt disolved tho espc since you have a false wall :)

    you could do it, but as so as you add something you cant. IMO i would just get use to mixing outside the tank

    When filling my 265g I just dumped a hole 5 gallon bucket of salt in the tank and stirred it up with a power head.

    It can be done but you will have to remove some water to add sand or LR so you dont over flow the tank :) but it can be done :) it just triples your work load :p
