Im planning on adding one or two shrimp to my 10g tank, would it be okay to get a skunk and a fire red shrimp? I was reading on them and they are both suppose to be friendly shrimp. More importantly can I even sustain two shrimp? I have one clown, im going to add another small fish, and snail eventually.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
They should be just fine in a 10 gal. Usually they are too interested in when the next meal is coming to notice anything else.

They will eat pretty much any fish food you add to the tank, no problem.

Try a quality pellet type every couple days. I think you will find them to be quite the beggers and more than enthusiastic eaters. If you have fish and are feeding them they will eat the left overs and whatever they can steal.

    +1 on above

they wont go hungry in a typical set up IME
Both mine come scuttling for anything that goes into the tank
Mysis, brine, bloodworm, pellets - they will chase anything and everything they feel is edible

    great fun to watch IMO

it's so fun to watch a shrimp come out and flip upside down to get some food off the surface. It's like they walk on air:upgrin:
