Question: they opened up like that after like 2-3 minute in the tank, took the pictures but had to go to frys to buy something and posting it now. Still looks the same.
Is he fully opened for his size? or is he still kinda closed up?

By the way the clam does not close when I moved it around in the tank a bit, is this normal behavior of clam?

What do you guys think of the color?
Payed 50 bucks for the 5 incher

    Hope you guys like it

He could be fully extended. Some don't extend that much, so it can be pretty individual. But they take awhile to get use to ones tank.

    Does it react at all?

    What's your temp and pH?

    It's a really nice squamy.

temp is 80 right now 83 at the maximum on hot days.
    Ph: 8.0

Well it reacts a little, it opens the mouth a little and closes. The clam it self bearly closes it does close very little not all the way.

Squamy as in the type of clam is nice?

Yes..... I think. Your squamosa is pretty.

Some of our clams were pretty laid back and would rarely close.

But it still may be adjusting.
