Mobalized 90g build

Bought this tank, stand, and canopy used off craigslist. The canopy was in rough shape so I am not going to try to repair it. The stands color was a bit light for my taste, so sanded, stained, and poly'd. Its been about 2 weeks total but finally has lights on it. Everything in, on, or around the tank aside from sand and rock was purchased from craigslist.

Tank/stand/2 sumps/return pump/ASM -g2 skimmer - $360
Koralia 1050's- $25 each (new)
Tek 48" 4 bulb w/ legs and bulbs- $235

I wish I had actual before and after pictures but I was to anxious to start working on it, the pictures are a lapse over apx 1.5 weeks.

Definitely keeping the 29, love the tank it and will remain my pride and joy. The 90 is going to start as primarily fish but evolve to corals as I fill up the 29 more and start fragging things from it.

 

Sweeet! nice deal on it as well. Should be a nice tank when its done, certainly headed in that direction.

 

exactlyobp, are you a sti owner? Judging by your avatar I assume yes of a 06 or 07.
I thought it was a relatively good deal on the tank, I really did want a 125 though but this will do. Im trying to mix a little bit of live rock into the white rock for some contrast as well.

 

Yup, it's an 07 STi, stock all the way pretty much LOL (This is how it looks now..)

Really thought things were coming along good, tank has had water in it for about 2 weeks and I think I have 2 leaks now. I had noticed some salt creep along the side/bottom of the tank where the side meets the black plastic. Figured water just ran down the glass during setup and evaporated, cleaned it off last night. Now today a small trace of creep has re appeared.
