wow nice idea..... i hate the 12 inch thickness of the 55g's as well.... awesome job..
eurobracing would make this insane... also would make a killer frag tank as well.. lots of ideas brewing now..

will have to make a diy thread to show what sealant.. etc.. step by step.. so someone else can try it

I agree. Eurobracing would be a must for me. Without it would make me paranoid. Yes, please do a DIY if possible. :)

i think its a brilliant idea and major karma, but you absolutely must brace that somehow. the question isnt if but when.

How I do a eurobrace? I was just thinking on a glass to go in the middle from one end to another and silicone it. Do you guys think this would do? I heard that you have to brace a tank if is taller than 25 in. My tank it's only 14. It seems to be doing well and no bowing have happen yet

Yeah no brace or molding? I would be concerned... We have a 40 breeder frag tank here that has a slight bow to it... I would watch it CAREFULLY!

    Other than that nice work!

To the original poster. I deleted the thread that you created in the DIY forum that provides a link to this thread. Let me know if you want to leave this thread where it is or if you would rather have it moved to the "I Made This" forum.
