    Hello Guys & Gals!
About 6 months ago I had purchase a 24G Aquapod! I started to research on several forums on nano tanks, and stumble on a few members who did some mods on there nano tanks. So I've decided to mod my Aquapod, and turn it into a RR tank. Firstly, I will most pictures of each items of equipment or the plan of on how I'm planning to mod this Aquapod.
    Equipment
    24G Aquapod - New
    20" Current Sunpod 150W HQI 14K Phoenix - Used
Custom Stand- Built by a friend
Custom Acrylic Sump - built Custom King
Tunze DOC 9002 Skimmer - New
    Return Pump - Eheim 1048 - New
    AC JR - New
    Phosban Reactor - Used

    Before!!
When I first purchase the 24 Auapod it was barely used. The previous owner was moving to another state. So it was a good deal, tank complete with the hood light, aquapod stand for $125. I already had a 125G in my livingroom. So I thought of setting this aquapod in our family room.

When I had bought new equipment for my modded setup!
Here is a 15G custom acrylic sump built by a friend of mind with a filter sock holder.
Tunze DOC 9002 Protein Skimmer, at first I had this inside the chamber of the Aquapod, now this time is going into the sump.
AC Jr controller, the best piece of equipment everyone in this hobby should have.

    Phosban Reactor - Used

The stand was built by a friend, who builts furniture!

    Sump inside the stand

After the tank was drilled for the overflow
    [IMG]
Removed the canopy or the hood that came with the Aquapod, and started with a 24" Current Sunpod 150W 14K phoenix
Where you see the Hydor Flo Rotating Water Deflector, I drilled another hole - this is also my return.

Since I was going to put live rock and cheato in the sump, I need a light. So I went to Homedepot and purchase a $10 halide. Mounted above the sump. Plenty of light.

Personally, I prefer a Aqua C Remora back pack type skimmer on the aquapod.
