modding mh into 28g nano cube hood

    i have a full 150 watt mh set up that i want to mod into my hood do yous think its a good idea or shld i jus keep the stop 105watt cf lighting

    If you take apart the metal halide and just use the reflector and such it would work. You may need to trim the reflector to fit under the glass panel. A big concern would be heat. I would rather recommend you do an open top with the metal halide than to try to retro it in the hood.

    i have plenty of fans to help with heat and were the tank will be its gonna be rather cold
