I have a 20G L reef tank and this filter is probably a little much for my tank so i was thinking of turning one of the compartments into a refugium with live rock rubble and a macro algae I would keep the other compartment for my filtration. Do yall think this idea would work? Any thought would be appreciated!

Sounds like a good idea in theory. I don't know if the refugium side will enough if my flow. There is one pump that supplies both chambers and my only concern would be that I one side has rubble that the flow wouldn't be able to pass. But then again if the blurb blue is big enough it might pass right through with no problem. Just some things to think of. Good luck. Can't wait to hear how it turns out.
