Looking great as always. Still got the Radion above, or have you switched back to Halides yet?

Thanks, still have the Radion, have the halide set-up waiting in the wings but Xmas killed my budget a little so haven't gotten the Radium yet. I wanted to build a pseudo canopy to shield my daughters eyes from the MH, so it might be a little before I make the swap. I did notice that after raising my Radion a lot more the corals seems a bit happier.

That is my only concern with my new lights. My daughter just turned 2 and I am worried she'll look at them. My plan is to keep them as close to water as possible and just turn down the intensity. My LEDs over 55g are 6" above water and run at 40..50% most of the day, with a brief 2h period at 65%. Anything more and stuff was getting fried/upset.

I hear you, my daughter is the same age and my old MH overhang lightbleed was blinding as the tank was right around her play area. Switching to LEDs was a huge + as they are much less intense than my MH was. I can raise my Radion extremely high and the overspill doesn't bother anyone. I do have the G1 and haven't installed the TIR lenses I got so not sure how much more intense those new lenses are.

Thanks man, yeah unfortunately my RBTA's were not happy with the switch over to the LEDs (tried many different graphs/intensities) and they began wandering all over the tank so I had to take them all out. I miss them more than my clowns, and my clowns miss them A LOT! I will most likely get a few when I swap back to MH at some point.

Thank you, glad you liked the vid, I have my Zetlight nano light here waiting for some good use, maybe a little nano for my daughter!
