HOLY! NICE!NICE!NICE! i love cubes! good luck on your build man, I just finished cycling my 60 gal 2x2x2 cube i'll be sure to post pics and i'm definitely following a fellow cuber build. Don't do what i did I got lazy and built my stand and everything without pictures -__-

 

ahhhhhh, prepping our new place is taking longer than expected. Dem'oing the bathroom, they busted a radiator stem that was rusted to all heck, fun fun. It's that kinda stuff you don't want to pay for but needs to be done or it'll become uber bad & more expensive later.

I get to see the tank everytime I go there and it calls to me, I swear it's talking to me....

 

LOL.

I feel much knowing that others can hear their tanks talking as well.;D

 

Tank looks great!!!! Make them hurry up with your place so you can get this going!!

 

Thanks gals, goshhhhh I can't wait. Everytime we go over there they're asking me like "what tile would you like on the floor" and I'm just staring at the tank going "neon pink tile, sure, sure, just get it done!"

 

Finally it's beginning! With the help of my awesome bud at the LFS, we plumbed the sump, filled the tank/sump with 80g of pre-mixed water from his store's system. Added 60lbs of arag sand & installed the Lumen max 2 pendant with the Radium 20K.

Thanks! No, it actually is just one 250w bulb, puts out really nice coverage over the 30x30 footprint. My ballast is a select-a-watt that has 4 settings so I can go up to a 400w bulb if needed. I also got the SLS adjustable hanging kit so I can easily lower and raise it.
