Is that silicon something you did or is that a store bought tank?

It's store bought. It's the fluval ebi shrimp tank. I've been looking everywhere and their is nobody that says you shouldn't use it as a salt tank, and I've found a couple other people who have with no problem.

Are your snails going up on it? I wouldn't worry about it unless that algae is under the silicone.

I have red algae that seems to like the corners of my tank, I think it may be due to flow.....if it's on the outside of the silicone, I think it's pretty normal.....
