    I have a tank that recently finished the initial cycle. During the cycle, I had 4 hermit hitchhikers. I have found at least 3 molts during and right after the cycle.

    Today, I picked up two skunk shrimp. Within 6 hours (and in the middle of the day) one of them has already molted. :eek:

    Is this any indicator of water quality?!

    Shrimp often molt when introduced to a new tank/water conditions.
