When your shrimp molt, do they molt everything including their antenae? If not, then my peppermint met his end in the koralia.:-[

Yep, they shed everything. As stated, they will hide in a hard to reach place until their shells get hard. They are extremely vulnerable after the molt. After they molt, any damaged body part they had will also regenerate. My cleaner shrimp lost one leg and it grew back after it shed its old shell.

My emerald crab lost two legs, then a few days later molted. Scared me to death, but now he has all 8 legs!
