monti cap browning

hey, i've had this monti for a couple weeks and the last few day's i've noticed a discoloration, on one of the pieces especially. as you can see, it's most noticable under the blues and not so much under the MH. i've tested levels and done my regular water changes all my parmeters are gnat's A. could this be a sign of too little light? is this guy in trouble?

 

I'm 100% sure it's 1 of the following:

< It's just adjusting to your particular lighting.

< My cap does something similar when i've pressed the top of it w/ my finger to hard.

< Something else

 

nice job boom=) I would have to say it's most likely injured in the places that you have handled it. Is this bad.... no I don't think so because those spots may be where you start to see the cool growth patterns that cap can get.

 

this is why you guys rock. i would have never thought of this, but now that you mention this, the worst looking one is the frag i had to re-glue twice. other than making sure my Cal and Mag are where they need to be, is there anything else i could do to help this guy?

alk is 10, cal is 420 mag is ? i'm waiting for my tests in the mail. for the time being i'm using the prescribed amount on the back of my kents bottle. everything is growing rather quick and nothing else seems to be suffering.

would it have taken a couple of weeks for these "touch marks" to show up?
