    i know i should always reserch before i buy, but i always buy from my LFS's 10$ a coral tank so i dont really know what they will have when a go to the store

    I Feed all my SPS once a week, and they also get some food when i feed my fish, monti's are pretty hardy little fellows but you still need everything in check and the right lighting, placement should really depend on the type of light you have, what are you planning on keeping it under?

    my lights are coralife t5 lunar which produces 156 watts per gallon

    156w per gallon? or total, which fixture is it? how many bulbs length etc.. also how big is your tank?
