    36" fixture then? each bulb is 39W i would suggest putting it up as high as possible, placement where you have it should be alright, also what kind of bulbs are you running, and how old are they?

    ok, you may want to switch out your bulbs soon, how long has your tank been running? i liked the geiseman bulbs but there are many out there that fit different peoples pocket book
