    I agree with everyone as well. Next time try and keep them low then move them up slowly over a couple of weeks.

    I bleached a monti to the point where it began to turn brown (from bleach white) from algae. I left it in the tank and 2 week weeks later, it began growing again (on top of the old skeleton). I now have 6 quarter sized frags of the former monti cap. I moved it to the sand, btw.

    I'm not saying this will happen for you, but it may be worth trying (leaving the skeleton in the water).

    I'll post some pics of mine in a bit.

    There is another powerhead on the other side to create a gyre with each pushing 550 gph. There are two returns drilled through either side of the overflow which should be doing at least 600 gph between them.

    Cool. I moved the branching frag to the bottom and out of direct light I figure I'll just let it sit there until something change.
