I can see these little nudibranches eating my montipora digitatas and capricornus... however not on any acros. is it safe to assume that they are selective to montipora only and that once i get all my montis clean, there wont any risk for other corals?

ill post pics once i pull all of them out

If it is monti eating nudis then yes, they only have a taste for montis. However, and i stress however, these are a royal pain in the butt to get rid of. You need to remove all you montis and treat them with lugols solution and put them in a qt tank. It will require frequent dipping as these guys lays eggs which do not die!!! It only takes 1 nudi to lay eggs.......

Bad news: You must keep your dt fallow of monti for at least 6 months as it can take that long to starve them out..........

Sorry to be the bearer of doom and gloom.....i lost all my montis at the begining when i had them!

man ur in for a fight, ive had whole colonies consumed by them, they are nocternal feeders, you can kill the adults easy its the eggs you really have to worry about... I lost 95% of my caps and digi's.
the ones i saved i was able to take out and dip several several several times and scrubbed them with a soft brush... still didnt do it as u have to get err nook and cranny... so i bought a coris wrasse and a hovens wrasse, and my problem has gone away.... for now atleast they are constant hunters
