montipora growth

    About month and a half ago i bought a montipora...first one...the outer edging is white which was not there when i bought it...it is red in color...is this new growth forming for this coral?

    Yes, when SPS grows, it will form a white edge around it, and will eventully turn red or whatever color it is..Congrats.

    That makes me happy...i put some acros about same tie and they seem to be doing good. Just got to bring my torch back....slowly but surely he might make it. Thanks.
