I was wondering about some of your guy's experience with montis in your tanks. I have a few buds with some in their reefs and they think I should try one out in my tank. Ive been doing some research here and there and getting kind of the same general answer frome everyone. Everyone so far I have talked to says they are a pretty stable coral to go with? So have at it and thanks all

My setup is a 90 gallon bowfront, so its kind of a taller tank. My lights are a Current USA Nova Extreme 6x 48 inch T5 HOs. I think its a total of just over 300 watts.

You shouldn't have a problem with your lighting,as long as your params are stable i think you will be suprised at how quickly monti's grow.

Some Montipora grows faster than others and are more hardy than others as well. Digitata and Capricornis is probably your best bet!

i have monti caps that have gone out of control dont know what to do w/most of them always breaking off pieces , glueing to something , they start ect , same w/some pokerstar i got as a frag now the size of a basketball . they can grow, part of NY iam in has no place to swap so i just keep fragging i would think you would be fine w/the light setup
