I have a 22 gallon cadlight with 56 watt T5's. If i were to glue them to the very very top of the tank (my rock goes up that high) could i pull off keeping them? If i were to add for instance a actinic light like the ones that come on a freshwater setup (the 15 watt) could i say i have 15 more watts of light? could that be considered a source of light? i was going to do it just for color but if it contributes to my overall "technical" wattage ill deff. do it. And if i have 71 watts of light, would that be enough (again, only if the light would contribute)?

As im reading more and more, web sites are saying they only need "moderate" lighting.

I would say yes. One of my LFS's doesn't use Halides and they have some of the nicest corals around.

I agree, monti can be kept under pretty low lighting.

Monti's tend to adapt to most light. MH's are not needed. IMO you can keep a monti in the middle to top of the tank with no problems;)

ahh you guys are the best at delivering good information ;D thanks for the quick replies. So you guys are implying that they will be ok with the 56 watt? Im looking into buying a 3rd 28 watt light so then that'll be plenty, maybe some other sps to go along with it?

superglue gel works best if your trying to stick them in a position that they are not balanced ( gravity would cause them to fall over if they are not stuck)

if they are in a balance position (gravity cant effect them) then putty is also good
I like the D+D putty as its purple, but I have also used the Aquamedic stuff which is grey

My under water superglue skillz are weak.. If I'm gluing to a rock out of water it works fine. (use the gel BTW).
Underwater I take the easy route with aquastik purple.

Thanks very much both of you for your input. Just making sure, both of these will adhere to glass?
