    They won't stick to glass. If you would like for the monti to start growing on the glass you will need something like a magnet or prop it up where you want it until the monti starts to stick to the glass. Then remove the support.

    Oh, ok thanks for the heads up. So just before i go around thinking i can keep monti's (ive always wanted to, always loved them) you sure they can live under 56 watts? im saying this just in case i dont get the 3rd 28 watt

    It will grow under the lights you currently have. I have montis and I am currently using pc's and they are doing great.

    Thats awesome, awesome news. Well heres the thing. I knew this from the beginning but forgot it until now. My t5s are only SO (standard output) can i stttttiilllll pull it off? ;D I guess that statement you made makes my purchase that i was about to make obsolete.

    Ok since i just got a 150 watt halide with 14x2 t5HO actinics, can i put the monti anywhere in the tank i want? (height wise)

    Question about sps in general. I have a halide, i have actinics, i have moon lights, i have a 1400gph turnover in my tank. Could my tank be a good host for sps? is 1400x enough? My return is 780 gph but with head loss is probably 600 and i have 2 koralia 1 powerheads. Enough? What other factors should i be worried about? in my last reef i didnt have any problems keeping params stable (calcium, mag, iodine, ph, salinity, nitrate, nitrite, alk, ext) Am i good?

    Yes, it will grow anywhere under that. I would start them low and work them up slowly to prevent bleaching.
