    the link u posted shows purple LEDS that are UV. I thoughth UV was detrimental to reef tanks...

    They are not uv lights. That's the color temp they ate good I have had mine for over two weeks now and nothing has gone wrong.

    how can they have the color temperature of uv lights but not be UV lights? This makes no sense.

    I have been looking at getting moon lights and these are cheap, and led's :) What size is your tank? I need to know how many to get for my 55g.

    Oh thanks KhensuRa, I just bought one of those instead! I think 24 led's will cover my 55 well enough where I don't have to buy two either. Appreciate the link!!

    lol I did somthing like this in a DIY post I did where I used christmas lights that were led ant they worked well

    yea i dunno im skeptical about these aquarium led lights on ebay. I really want some with the right color temp around that blue 450nm range so it will make the corals pop while its only a moonlight. However many of these sellers just say BLUE which could mean anything. So i have been waiting on finding a nice set..

    I will as soon as I can. All the colors pop in my tank, these are the best moon lights I have used and seen.
