    You guys are making me want one more, but from what I read you can't put them in with seahorses so.....no urchin for me :(.

    It sounds like the only compatiable one with seahorses is the pencil (longspine) urchin... and imo they are ugly :D

    The nice thing about the blue tux's they dont get big :x. 3" max is what Ive seen online from research, the rest get to be 8inches.

    That's good but even a mere 3" in the current set up of the nano seems a bit much...have 13.25 lbs live rock that takes up most of the tank. it's very open sort of stuff. But love the little urchin so is now on my list.

    So, I have plenty of Diatoms forming in my tank and decided to test the levels again... just to see what was going on, and to prove to my parents that this was okay....

    Nitrates = 0
    PH =8.2
    Nitrites = 0
    Ammonia = 0
    Salinity = 1.024

    These levels are great for me.... and all of my creatures (fish and snails and urchin) are doing well.... so far so good :D

    You and your tank are doing great!! diatoms usually mean the cycle is nearing the end - so that's looking great!!

    Thanks! I'm glad everything is doing okay.... I'm just a little worried about my clowns as they are nipping at each other all of the sudden... started last night and has continued today :-/

    That's normal. They are working out who will be female and who will be male. It can get pretty nasty. Just keep your eye on them, but hopefully it won't get too bad!
