i just got my R2 Solutions Moonlight 11000 MC from marine depot, and im not as happy as i thought i would be. said its supposed to cover a 3 foot length, which is my tank, and it only makes one area glow which is right underneath it, i thought it was supposed to light up the whole tank

i dont know maybe it will look better when its pitch black, i just unpluged my lights to see how it would look

Did you rotate the light in every direction to see what looks best? It took me awhile to get the placement right so that the light was covering more space.

Yeah, the actual tube spins around in the brackets. It takes awhile to get it right. Did for me anyway.

Yeah, they aren't too bright...because they are supposed to be mellow, like the moonlight, lol...but I think once you rotate the tube around and find the right position they will be better!

I use two of them on my 150. More than bright enough, and covers the entire tank.

Play with the rotation as KC said, you should see a huge difference.

If possible, try placing the light in the middle of the lighting and in the middle of the tank.
