I have a tessilated moray eel that is always ready to eat my black fin trigger, blue line grouper, and giant hawkfish. I have a vio. lion fish and that's OK but the eel is 28in long and very agressive, is there any better tank mates or should I loose the eel.

I would say loose the eel. I am sure he probably will not bother the Lionfish but anything else would be a goner. These are extremely aggresive (as it gets bigger it will get worse)and eat fish!!

Its in my 112 gallon right now but I'm building a 65 gallon frag. Would it be OK in there for a while?

I wouldn't he will knock into your frags and possibly damage them. Not a good frag tank addition. Plus they are carnivores which makes them extremely dirty.

Since a sense of humor obviously isn't appreciated around here, I'm going to give a serious answer to your serious problem. First off, large eels have no place in home aquaria, unless you have an extremely large tank. Those eels get quite large in the wild (if it's the one I'm thinking of). If you try to sell it, it's probably going to end up in someone else's "inadequate" tank, and eventually be dead before it ever has a chance to live a full life. I would donate it to a zoo or public aquarium that has the facilities to care for it properly. Is this the eel you have? http://www.bluezooaquatics.com/productdetail.asp?did=1&cid=17&pid=628 Some of the smaller eels like the Snowflake don't get very big, and be kept with success in home aquaria. I saw a baby Green Moray for sale in a LFS and tried to talk them into releasing it into the ocean, but I guess they sold it. Those get HUGE, but somebody probably bought it thinking what a cute little eel it was.
Here's a couple of pics I took about two miles out from Ft Lauderdale. Luckily I got my friend in the pic to give it some scale, but that eel was probably 6-7 ft long. They get bigger than most people think they do!

I caught a HUGE one down in the keys. It got fouled in my line trying to chase my croaker... beast of a fish. They get huge. Keep em in the ocean. but in your case, try gettin a fish store to take it off your hands, not sure the value of it.
