Remember that cool Tiaojiou LED lamp from a while back? Well it is not the only cool one from our friends in Taiwan. Tzong Yang Aquarium Company were showing off this sleek aluminum LED nano light recently. It was packed with what looked like .6w LEDs and you could control the intensity of the whites, blues or a combination there of from the black handle. The lamp was hinged and flipped up for easy access to your nano aquarium. I have dubbed it the 'light saber' for its old school tech vibe. Tzong was tight-lipped and told me to put my camera away before I could get good pics. So this is all I can share at this point.

.6w? Looks nice, but why so underpowered? 3w Cree's are where it's at. Is this meant for freshwater?

Nah just small tanks. The .6w is a guess from the physical size of the LEDs I saw. I may be wrong there. There were a lot of them packed in that light though.

They just wanted to show it off. They did not want to share information on it too much and told me to put the camera away as it was 'too new.'

I have since reached out to the rep but have not heard back. Hopefully they will get back with details soon.

Neat looking. I like your name for it, you should mention that to them... of course I'm sure George Lucas has that trade-marked... oh well.
