just an update. I plugged in the skimmer tonight, so far so good. No leaking, and this is with the filter sock on. So i don't know what happened a few days ago, but skimmer seems to be running perfect now, with no bubbles in the tank, and skimming without an issue. So hopefully i wont have anymore issues.

It would be so nice to have no more bubbles. when it was acting up a few days ago there were no bubbles in the tank, just the leaking issue.

i've had it plugged in for half an hour now. When it was giving me trouble a few days ago it would leak as soon as i plugged it in, then would stop as soon as i unplugged it. Right now, no leaking.

Were you ever able to pinpoint where the water was coming from?

not really sure, now that it isin't causing any water. The only thing i changed was i pushed the top of the filter sock back some. I'm wondering if the filter sock was hanging over the edge of the tank causing it to drip down the tank and the back of the skimmer:confused: that's the only thing i can think of because since i've moved it i havent had ANY issues

wash on normal/heavy soil. ex small for load size. they get pretty dirty so I try to get them as clean as possible. They are pretty much completly dry when they come out of the spin cycle. no need to dry
