found this on the bottom of that same rock that nudibranch was on. first pick is the rock right side up. you can see the translucent tentacles clearly. second shows whatever that is in the light. it is a deep pink with see- through tentacles that end with orange knobby things. when the rock is the way its supposed to be that thing is completely in the dark. ideas?

yeah, both times I bought coral from that lfs I got some cool hitchhikers. Last time i bought a yellow zoa colony that was hiding some pretty pink dotted zoas and light orange palys on it. They are so inconsistent with pricing and knowledge though. The guy who sold me the sympodium didn't even know what it was:p

Should I leave the orange ball strawberry alone? (I know, two different things, but it looks like a combo of the two). From what I looked up it seems like they don't cause problems, but as always there were a couple of people who preached doom and gloom about them. As always, thanks for all the help guys. I'd have probably gone nuts by now if you all weren't here to answer my questions.

Ball nems are a coralimorph. Same family as mushrooms and ricordea. I have heard they have a more potent sting though when they come in contact with other corals. I'd keep it but just watch it closely around other corals.
