I have a Juvie Achilles Tang. Had him over a month right now from the low low price of 220... LOL. He is definitely worth every penny to me! :)

Man those leopard wrasses are pretty. I'm scared that I'd bump him off though.

So was I. At this time, I swore I would never spend more than 100.00 on a fish.....LOL! I was assured by Joe that I wouldn't kill this one. He was actually at the store for at least 3 weeks while I watched him....I was really surprised that he was still there.

Then once I broke the 100 dollar rule...I got the purple tang!

    All is alive and well!

Here is mine. Sorry for the bad pic

Oh, be careful. Once that $100 barrier comes down, it gets really dangerous. I actually am thinking about a crosshatch . (and I put 7 lyretail anthias in the tank yesterday -- the bright red hybrids like Jan's)

On past tanks the most I ever spent was $49 but I have been looking out for a flaming prawn goby lately and they seem to run between $89 and $149

I've got the pics in my build thread now. I actually caught all 7 in the same frame :)

I'd never heard of those before. That is a really cool looking fish.

I forgot to add that he was also the only fish not QT'd because he was at a reputable fish store and "looked disease free". He had internal parasites and gave all of my fish ich. The whole system had to be treated with copper twice, and my big Queen Trigger nearly died. All is well now, though. No fish goes into my tanks now without Prazi and Cupramine first.
