Most expensive fish?

30 dollars for a snowflake eel. i fed him every day and he was 3 inches when i got him and then 6 inches in a month. it was amazing. i returned him for a dwarf lionfish. that thing died and now all ive bought is coral.

 

i'm not done stocking my tank but so far my most expensive fish has been my helfrichi firefish, i got him on sale at liveaquria for $90 but with shipping it was like $125. My pair of black and white clowns were also $90 but that was for two fish

 

I have not broken $25 yet. Most expensive so far is the Coral beauty $22. I am not confident enough in my ability to go more the that right now. Maybe someday.

 

lol i've only been in the hobby for 4 months, and i don't mind spending the big bucks, maybe that's just me though, i only seem to like the expensive fish for some reason

 

Mine was prob my clown for $35 but i got a chevron and clown trigger from someone who was doing a tear down both worth prob $175

That was a very nice pick-up. My chevy cost me $250 and I know that clown triggers aren't cheap either.

 

hahahaha i'm sure i could easily go on a spending spree there, lol so long i have the money but it's so true, i don't seem to like any of the cheaper fish. The cheapest fish that i like is the McCosker's *sp* flasher wrasse, and that's it. But i'm sure the cheapest fish that i'll be getting is the tank bred bangaii cardina, i don't like the fish but my mom wants it, so i have to get it

 

my lfs sold a grouper that gets up to 3 feet long and and it was 1300 dollars it was so cool it was yellow and black, they also sell sharks for like 900. i cant imagine anyone paying that much money for a fish. ive also seen a kryptonite candy coral for 500$ and a acan for 800$ and the frag was only 42 square inches!!!! can you imagine that

i was so upset cause my chev died from ich he was like 6" full grown so he was a little big and the clown went to the lfs and he said he got sold to somone is tryingh to get him agressive and is feeding him goldfish

 

95 for one black clown would have to be the most I spent on one fish
