Agreed - you can't mark something like that and then not tell us what it is and maybe show some pics! 8)

$150 Red Sea Purple tang, granted I didn't pay quite that much as I got it from my work is was retailing for almost $170, and actually was at a low margin... Darn Red Sea fish!!!

Otty I had a large Red Sea shipment like a week ago and my supplier had Sohals, some SHOULD have made it to your neck of the woods....
Unfortunately the shipping is over and it will be a while until the next round!

I spent 50 on a kole tang and I spent 50 on a yellow tang. The YT is going strong, but the KT died last night. Who spent a grand??? That must be one great fish.

Seriously...the most expensive fish I've ever seen anyways was an achilles tanged marked at $400 at an LFS. Beautiful fish. Who voted for the $1000? I'm thinking it was a joke instead of an actual fish.

I have spent about $150 a couple times. First time I bought a Majestic Angel a year or so back. It died a short while after when my tank crashed.

I have bought a Bellus Angel for about $150 (cant remember the exact price...any fish over $100 gets lumped in together as being too much) She is doing very very well and has grown nicely and is getting her streamers in. She is one of my prettiest fish

I will NEVER buy another blue spotted jaw....they go for between $69 to $100 here. I had one the first night I had it it managed to jump THROUGH THE EGG CRATE and died. I dripped it at night and had the lights off so I could get him less stressed...that darn thing jumped anyway..NEVER saw him. One store had one on sale for $69 and I thought....hmmm lets try again. And I had him a month or so and I think my brain ate him (see my post)

I do have a golden puffer that sells for $300-600 at different sites I have been on. I only spent about 1/4 of that....but that was because I bought a whole new system for him so that made up the difference and then some

So that was you? What about a story to go with it, you can't get away with that small of a post for a "grand" fish!
