#33 powder brown. He had/has ick, but I think he is going to pull through. One of my favorite fish.

Side question here everyone: Do I have to have a certain amount of posts to vote here? It says I'm not awesome enough to vote.

10 years ago I paid $150 for a Harlequin Tusk for my fish only 150g tank. I've paid $100 for a Majestic Angel and an Asphur Angel. I just read somewhere that the Asphur Angel is the only angel of it's breed that's actually reef safe. Has anyone experienced that. Let me know as there is a nice one in my LFS.

Tie at $55 dollars, three times over. Well sort of. First, on my pair of clowns (first fish ever, still alive and happy), then on a hippo, died after my anemone incedent, the again on another hippo, which is currently alive and happy

$49 is my highest on a Black Nox Pygmy Angel, its been a difficult fish at best, gets ich or some other illness on a drop of a pin and refuses to eat.

I am gonna stick with the cheaper fish, I hate spending lots of money on fish.

Wow looking at the prices you guys pay for fish I need to move to the states. My most expensive fish was a Crosshatch trigger in the super rare size of a little under 3 inches. I got it for $ 300 dollars and that was considered a great deal as they go for $ 500 + all the time if they make it to Canada. Most of the regluar angels here start at $ 100 dollars and go up from there. I got a Scribbled angel that cost me $ 250 (once again sold at most lfs at $ 400+). My sohal was $ 150, so as you can tell the prices here are a bit higher (and you should have seen the prices for fish here a couple of years ago).

I've tried a bluespot, twice, once for $110, the second for $90.
The first one died obviously, but he only lasted like maybe a day tops. Thought it was just bad stock. Bought a second one about a month later, this one lasted two days. Hid in a big empty snail shell for a day, thought he died then because I didnt know he was in there. But I found him on day two in the shell, looking awful.
Here's the emergency thread I posted, pics and all

I love the fish. I wish I could figure out why they dont like my tank.

Anyways, I want to hear a little more about the clowns that were going for what, 6K, is that what I remember seeing.
    Must be some impressive clowns.
