$150 for a supposedly pair of black clowns. The LFS won't let me return them or get a exchange. This was when they were still getting popular, or well I dont know if they were ever popular, but I was in quite a shock for a few days that I actually spent that much for clowns.
THey are still alive today! One has survived pop eye and can see through both eyes.

We can't always put a price on great fish. Black Clowns are cool. I saw a pair at Big Al's and I think it was close to a hundred dollars. I wonder if they mix well with perculas? Good luck.

As soon as my tank establishes another month or two, I plan to break my personal record and buy a flame fin Tomini tang. $53 at the LFS.

Icedgxe, those are my favorite wrasses! i lost my first one cause of an aggressive 6line :( so a few months later i gave the 6line away to a buddy of mine and tried another mystery wrasse. (it was one of the really sweet ones from Vanuatu :) )
At the time i was still running metal halides and the ballasts were on a open shelf next to the tank...I came home to find my mystery wrasse stiff as a french fry baking on one of the ballasts :( after that i decided to just admire them in other peoples tanks haha
    Awesome fish though!!!
