In my experience its been mostly blennies, gobies somewhat, puffers, hawks etc.....

Just curious to see your guys opinion, feel free to offer specific species, and stories about the fish in your tank.

I would have to say the Naso Tang I used to have. It was awesome. Would eat from our hands, and liked to be petted. Yes, I emphasized liked. If you came up to the tank, it would go to the surface and kinda roll on its side, and wouldnt stop until you gave her a good rubbing, lol ;D. She would also, honestly, break up the little "fights" our damsels and clowns would get into. If they were squabbling, she would swim into the middle of it until they both retreated to their territories. A lot of stuff that fish did I wish I had gotten on video.
Second I would say blenny or my pair of ocellaris clowns. Both have really fun and interactive personalities.
And dont forget inverts have personality too! Both of the cleaner/skunk shrimp I have kept have great personalities as well.

aww i thought you still had the naso tang.

Yes, the shrimps can be very cool, and i used to have a fire and a cleaner (the cleaner lived for over 4 years) and both of them would cling to my arm while i was cleaning the tank or moving something.

oh and to add upon that, the whole petting thing is really cool, ive never actually seen that in an aquarium although i have petted 2 REALLY LARGE french angels (seemed like a pair) in a little cave while scuba diving.

My Ocellaris pair are my most personable fish. We hand feed them. The fish in my 90g are standoffish. The meanest fish I have is my maroon clown. It bites me every time I put my hand in the tank.

My pick exactly, mine is a Blonde Naso and would love to have a hole tank full of them.

One of my nicest fish just died tonight. Bella the red flame angel's flame is out. Totally. As in "flushed." :( D*&#, I hate it when fishies make me cry. She previously survived a vicous attack from a very mean wrasse, don't remember what type it was, but it went back to the fish store and she became "one-eyed-Bella" the wonder fish. I do work for Utah State Services for the Blind so I was considering getting her a very small white cane, but I can't hold my breath very long so training her to use it would have been a challenge.

My new favorite fish is Nim the sailfin tang. She waits until my grouchy spaz yellow eye tang goes into his cave, and then spreads her fins out wide and blocks him in. We are all rather proud of her assertiveness.
