    Maroon Clowns are the "clowns" of my tank. -

    BTW - Craig, if you are still watching this thread, which "sailfin" do you have - I was planning on getting the "Red Sea" one, just because of ties to area and have spent many hours in it.

    Pacific Sailfin because my tank is an Indo-Pacific species set-up. Easier to try to match one environment vs two for different species. Salinity is not the same in the Red Sea as it is in the indo-Pacific reef.

    That is a really good point that had not occured to me! -- What exactly is difference in the salinity between the two (Pacific/Red Sea)?

    Think I will follow suit & not just pick a species for sentimental reasons.

    Want him happy you know.. :)

    [/b]Can't rember exactly but the ocean reefs range from a salinity 35 - 37 ppt. I'm sure with low tide and evaporation it may fluctuate on the reef.[/b]
