    Hi all
    Been asking around to find the best KH & Ca level to run at.

    Have also had my same water sample tested at various different
    fish stores using different kits with all giving different readings.

    So Just wondering what is the recomended KH & Cal levels
    and the recomended test kits being used and recomended.

    Mine are
    KH = 160ppm
    Ca = 440
    Kit used = Hagan

    Im using API and Salifert for now, I want to change them out to Elos. I have a reef tank so I like to keep my Dkh at 10-12 and my Cal at 400-440ppm. Luna

    I keep my KH at 8-10dKH and my calcium at 420-435ppm. I use Tropic Marin to test my parameters.

    I us api (quit using salifert when they put out the bad batch of alk kits and wouldn't answer e-mails about them) My alk is runs from 10-13 and Ca around 450 - 500
